“COOKING MATTERS!” – A Unique Cooking Class!

Happy HourAn Interactive Happy Hour/Cooking Party
with a Community Service Purpose

Hey, have ya heard?  We have a great way to “do good” on a Friday night and still enjoy a cocktail or two with your friends!  Join us for our newest cooking class – COOKING MATTERS!, a happy hour cooking party with a Community Service Purpose.

A WHOLE NEW WAY TO LOOK AT HAPPY HOUR!

Bring your friends and spend a special night in an interactive cooking party where you will learn how to cook and create meals for two well-deserving local charities.  We’ll have heavy appetizers and great libations ready for you and your friends.  We’ll teach you how to create a classic dish like Chicken Scallopini and you’ll break into groups and cook together.  After sampling your work, you’ll package the rest of your creations, along with words of encouragement, for the families.  Imagine that …  you help to fill a freezer full of nutritious and delicious meals for those less fortunate.

Cooking Matters! is offered on two different nights: Friday, May 29, 2015 or Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The class fee of $60/per person includes: Cooking Instruction, Two Alcoholic Beverages, Heavy Appetizers and “Do Good” Points and a FUN TIME!!

To register, go to www.kcculinary.com and click on our Current Schedule to select either 5/29/15 or 7/17/15 – limited spaces so don’t delay!

We hope you’ll join us in our mission to serve others.

All Hands For HungerAll Hands for Hunger™ is a great concept that benefits everyone involved! The Culinary Center of Kansas City is a fantastic place to learn when just cooking for fun, but mixing a teambuilding experience with great food that feeds the homeless and hungry right here in Kansas City, is simply delicious!”   –  Jessica Brook-Bryon, Executive Director of Lazarus Ministries.

We’ll be making meals for Ronald McDonald House Charities and Rose Brooks Center at our Cooking Matters classes this summer. We’ve assisted dozens of local charities with our All Hands for Hunger events on which we based these classes. We’re always open to ideas of other local groups that could benefit. Just let us know.
