Who doesn’t like to get more for their money, right?! Well, we’re adding an element to our Tuesday Staff Lunch offering – we’re adding some culinary education! We post our menu on our website each week, but now we’ll be posting more information and sometimes recipes here on the blog to boot. Here’s the goods for our upcoming January 13, 2015 lunch. What’s The Dish On That Famous Dish?
The New York Chatham Hotel’s Chef Lagasi created this elegant dish many years ago as part of a contest, winning a small amount of money and creating its Parisien Restaurant’s signature dish which would go on to become a great American classic.
THE MENU: Made with tender chicken, broccoli and almonds in a velvety Mornay Sauce, our Chicken Divan at Staff Lunch on Tuesday will be served with a colorful side dish that compliments it perfectly, soft dinner rolls and creamery butter. For dessert another classic – German Chocolate Cake.
Tasty Tidbit: “Divan” is a French word meaning a meeting place or great hall. Join us for in our “divan” for Chicken Divan!
